The Colts were losing this game 27-10 with only 8:18 seconds to go in this game but then the Texans gave them this game on a silver platter.  Peyton Manning then directed a 11 play, 81 yard TD drive to cut the lead to 27-17 and that’s when the game really turned.  Linebacker Gary Brackett returned a Sage Rosenfels fumble 68-yards for a TD.  On the very next possession Rosenfels fumbled again and two plays later the Colts scored the winning TD on a 5-yard pass from Peyton Manning to Reggie Wayne.  Still, despite the flurry of big plays on defense at the end of the game they did not play well allowing 156 yards rushing (4.9 ypc) and 235 yards passing.

Peyton Manning showed the true heart of a champion late in this game as he willed the Colts to victory.  He finished up completing 25 of 34 passes for 247 yards with 2 TD passes and 1 interception.  Joseph Addai finally woke up rushing for 71 yards on 17 carries (4.2 ypc) and scoring a TD.  Reggie Wayne (7 rec, 97 yards, TD) and Dallas Clark (5 rec, 81 yards) led the way in the passing game.  The Colts’ miracle win improved them to 2-2 on the season.
