3. (93) Philip Wheeler, OLB
Philip Wheeler is a good athlete as he is 6’2″, 245 pounds and he runs a 4.7 40. Wheeler is not a great run defender because he’s a little bit finesse. But, he can cover TEs and RBs in the passing game and that’s important in the Colts’ defense. He played in 51 games (39 starts) at Georgia Tech and he finished with 247 tackles, had 34.5 tackles for a loss, had 18.5 sacks, broke up 14 passes and had 4 interceptions. Wheeler could develop into a starter down the road for the Colts but he will likely be a backup and special teams player as a rookie.
