The Indianapolis Colts may have reached a little bit here but Pollak was generally regarded as the 2nd best center prospect in this draft.  Pollak will likely back up Jeff Saturday for now but he will replace him in the starting lineup some day.  He can even handle some guard as he is a good trapper and puller.  Pollak is 6′3″, 299 pounds and he can run a 4.92 40 which helps him hit moving targets.  Pollak played in 46 games (36 starts) at Arizona State.  Pollak will likely have a productive career for the Colts.

The Indianapolis Colts hit their first two picks pretty well and then they added a lot of players that helped out with depth and on special teams.  WR Anthony Gonzalez was the first round pick of the Colts and he wound up playing a major role on the offense with Marvin Harrison missing most of last season.  Gonzalez played in 13 games (9 starts) for the Colts last season and he caught 37 passes for 576 yards (15.6 avg) with 3 TD grabs.  OT Tony Ugoh was taken in the 2nd round of the draft and he played well for the Colts.  Ugoh played in 11 games and he started them all.  CB Daymeion “Dante” Hughes played in 10 games as a rookie 3rd round pick last season and he made 14 tackles and defensed 2 passes.  DT Quinn Pitcock was the Colts’ other 3rd round pick last season.  He played in 9 games (1 start) for the Colts last season and he made 18 tackles and had 1.5 sacks.  Free safety Brannon Condren was the 4round pick of the Colts last season and he played in 8 games (0 starts) and he only made 5 tackles.  The Colts’ other 4th round pick last season was OLB Clint Session.  Session played in 13 games (1 start) for the Colts last season and he made 26 tackles, forced 1 fumble, defensed 2 passes and intercepted 2 passes.  WR Roy Hall was the first of the Colts’ 5th round picks last season and he played in 3 games but he didn’t catch any passes.  CB Michael Coe was the other of the Colts’ 5th round picks last season and he played in 6 games (0 starts) and he made 10 tackles and defensed a pass.  The Colts might have found a player in 7th round pick (DE) Keyunta Dawson who played in all 16 games (4 starts) for the Colts last season and he made 23 tackles, had 1 sack and he forced 1 fumble.
