The Colts won this game with an efficient offense and some outstanding defense. Peyton Manning was his usual stellar self as he completed 20 of 29 passes for 273 yards with 1 TD pass and 0 interceptions. RB Joseph Addai got a lot of tough yards for the Colts as the Texans were bopping him pretty good. He finished up with 22 carries for 72 yards (3.3 ypc) with 2 TD runs and he also caught 3 passes for 19 yards (6.3 avg). Kenton Keith got some scraps from the table as he carried the ball 7 times for 20 yards (2.9 ypc). WRs Reggie Wayne (4 rec, 84 yards) and Marvin Harrison (6 rec, 53 yards) both played pretty well yesterday but TE Dallas Clark made some nice plays as he caught 4 passes for 58 yards and a TD. The Colts finished up with 92 yards on 29 carries (3.2 ypc) and they completed 20 of 29 passes for 270 yards.

CB Marlin Jackson (15 tackles) and linebacker Gary Brackett (9 tackles, interception) both played inspired defense yesterday. The Colts held he Texans to 40 yards rushing on 17 carries (2.4 ypc) and they completed 27 of 33 passes for 214 yards. The Colts special teams also had issues as KR Jerome Mathis returned the opening kickoff 84 yards for a TD and rookie PR Jacoby Jones returned a punt 74 yards.
