Cincinnati Bengals 14, Indianapolis Colts 6
The Colts played a pretty pathetic game on Friday Night…but at least the game doesn’t count in the standings. Jim Sorgi started the game and he completed 19 of 33 passes for 150 yards. Josh Betts followed him in the game and he completed 12 of 21 passes for 154 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 interception. Running backs De de Dorsey (12 car, 49 yards) and Kenton Keith (7 car, 36 yards) both ran the ball hard. John Standeford led the receivers of the Colts with 8 grabs for 61 yards (7.6 avg). The Colts finished with 85 yards rushing on 19 carries (4.5 ypc) and they completed 31 of 54 passes for 288 yards.Â
The Colts defense played well against the pass as the Bengals completed 16 of 28 passes for 107 yards and the Colts picked off three passes. But, the Bengals rushed for 134 yards on 31 carries (4.3 ypc) and that has to bother Colts’ coaches.
