3. (98) Quinn Pitcock, DT
The Indianapolis Colts needed help on the interior of their defensive line as they often got pushed around in the running game. But, Pitcock is too soft to really help stop the run in the NFL so his selection was a big reach in the 3rd round. Pitcock is 6’2″, 301 pounds and he plays hard all of the time…..but, he’s just not that good of a football player. In 49 games (35 starts) at Ohio State, Pitcock made 133 tackles, 27.5 tackles for a loss, had 14 sacks, batted down a pass and recovered 1 fumble. Pitcock has the look of a reserve tackle in the Pros.
