The Colts today traded for defensive tackle Anthony “Booger” McFarland. The Colts gave up a second round pick in the 2007 draft. Coach Dungy knows McFarland well from their days together in Tampa, but it seems like they paid a high price for a 29 year old player that has 8 tackles this season. McFarland is 6’0″, 300 pounds. For his career, McFarland has played in 98 games, has 219 tackles and 20 sacks. Dungy is hoping that McFarland can help with the run defense, which is allowing 166.8 yards rushing per game and 5.2 yards per carry!
