After the injury to James Mungro, the Colts needed another running back…..so they signed Wells. Wells we begin as the #3 running back, but he could move up quickly if the backs in front of him don’t produce. Wells has played in 60 games (18 starts) and has run the ball 374 times for 1,167 yards (3.1 ypc) and 10 TDs. Don’t be too alarmed by the average of 3.1 yards per carry, because the Colts have a much better offensive line than the Texans did.
