Peyton Manning…..truly amazing

Peyton Manning’s career really has been like no other. The numbers he’s been putting up are mind-boggling. Manning has never missed a start in his career (128 games and counting) and he’s completed 63.9% of his passes for 33,189 yards with 244 TD passes and 130 interceptions for a career rating of 93.5. In Manning’s dazzling career he has never thrown less than 26 TD passes in a season OR thrown for less than 3,739 yards. Six of his eight seasons he’s thrown for over 4,100 yards and probably would have done it again last year, but the Colts had nothing to play for the last two weeks so they rested him. For his career Peyton Manning is already tied for #13 all-time in TD passed with Drew Bledsoe and John Hadl with 244. If he throws 30 or more TD passes he will move all the way to #6 this season. Manning is currently #20 in all-time passing yards with 33,189, an average year for him could vault him all the way to #13.Â

Jim Sorgi is the clipboard holder in Indy, but he’s gotten some playing time due to the Colts’ domination of their division. When Sorgi has played he’s put up some numbers. Sorgi has relieved Manning nine times in his career and completed 65.6 % of his passes for 619 yards with 5 TD passes and 1 interception for a QB rating of 99.3.
